History
Merano was a Habsburg spa resort from the mid-19th century; the current baths opened in 2005 and replaced the old Kurmittelhaus.
Practical information
The sauna world is separate and textile-free. Outdoor pools stay open in winter.
Getting there
Trains from Bolzano take forty minutes; the baths are a five-minute walk from Merano station.
