The Giardini Poseidon Terme occupy the slope above Citara bay at Forio on Ischia. More than twenty pools, each held at a different temperature, are terraced through gardens down to a private beach on the Tyrrhenian Sea.

History
Ischia's volcanic springs have been used since Greek and Roman settlement; the Poseidon gardens were laid out from 1959 and remain the island's largest thermal park.

Getting there
Ferries and hydrofoils reach Ischia from Naples and Pozzuoli; buses from Ischia Porto serve Citara beach at Forio.
