- Interior / Exterior
Aix-les-Bains, on the shore of Lac du Bourget in Savoie, was the Roman Aquae Gratianae; an arch and the remains of a temple still stand beside the modern baths. The 19th-century Thermes Nationaux made the town one of the grandest cures in France, and thermal treatment continues today.

Por qué visitarlo
The town rewards a slow visit: thermal facilities, belle-époque architecture, the lake, and the Roman remains embedded in the spa quarter itself.
