Thermes Sextius stands at the north-western edge of the old town of Aix, on the springs the Romans exploited as Aquae Sextiae. Remains of the Roman baths and an eighteenth-century bath house are incorporated into the present building, opened in 1999.

Historia

Aquae Sextiae was founded in 122 BC around the springs. A thermal establishment was rebuilt in 1705 over the Roman remains, and the current spa opened in 1999.

Day access is by reservation and includes the pool, hammam and sauna circuit; treatments are booked separately.
