Bük was a farming village until a borehole struck hot mineral water at more than a kilometre depth in 1957. The bath opened to the public in 1962 and now spreads across a large park of indoor and outdoor pools, with the medicinal section kept separate from the family water world.
Balnevia-Sicht
Warum hingehen
It is one of Hungary's most complete thermal resorts outside Budapest, and pairs easily with the baroque town of Sopron and the Austrian border country.
