Vrnjačka Banja sits in central Serbia below the Goč mountain, a spa town of promenades, drinking pavilions and a river-side park. Seven mineral springs surface here, the warmest at close to body temperature.

История

The Romans built baths here, known as Aquae Orcinae. The modern spa dates from 1868, when the Founders' Society organised the springs, and the town flourished as a Serbian royal resort.
