Caldas de Monchique is a hamlet of pastel buildings in a eucalyptus and cork-oak valley in the Serra de Monchique, well above the Algarve coast. Its alkaline thermal water emerges at around 32°C and supplies both the thermal baths and a bottling plant.

Почему стоит поехать
The scale is the charm: a single shaded square, a nineteenth-century casino and a bath house, surrounded by hills — the Algarve without the coast.
