Raksawarin Hot Springs

Ranong's public hot springs, whose mineral water is clean enough to drink.

Piscina exterior

Raksawarin sits in a shaded public park a short way from central Ranong, in Thailand's wet, forested southern isthmus. Three springs rise here — traditionally called father, mother and child — feeding basins, a covered geyser feature and public soaking and foot pools among the trees. The water is unusually pure, and Ranong has long piped it around town.
