Gamla Laugin — "the old pool" — was built at Flúðir in 1891 and is the oldest swimming pool in Iceland. Restored and reopened as the Secret Lagoon, it keeps its rough stone edges, gravel floor and the little geyser that erupts nearby every few minutes.

訪ねる理由

A deliberately unpolished alternative to Iceland's designer lagoons: natural bottom, constant 38–40°C water, and steam drifting across the surrounding geothermal field.
