Radium Hot Springs lies in the Sinclair Canyon of Kootenay National Park, British Columbia, where hot mineral water emerges between near-vertical walls of red rock. Parks Canada runs a hot soaking pool and a cooler swimming pool on the site.

歴史

The springs were long used by the Ktunaxa people. The area became part of Kootenay National Park in 1920 and the pools have been federally operated since the early 1920s.

The pools are open year-round; the hot pool sits at around 39°C and the adjacent pool is kept much cooler.
