The Sprudelhof, completed in 1911, is the architectural centrepiece of Bad Nauheim: seven bathhouses arranged around a formal courtyard of fountains, with tiled halls, mosaics and reliefs by leading Art Nouveau craftsmen. The town's carbonated brine springs rise under natural pressure and were used here for cardiac and circulatory cures.
