Histoire
The ancient settlement of Thermae took its name from the springs, and Loutraki developed as a modern resort in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries after the springs were formally analysed.

The hydrotherapy centre is separate from the beachfront hotels; treatments are booked in advance in summer.
