The Nagyerdei bath complex sits inside the Great Forest park on the northern edge of Debrecen, Hungary's second city. Its medicinal wing draws on deep alkaline hydrogen-carbonate water containing iodine and bromine, alongside a modern spa and indoor palm-house pools.

Pourquoi y aller
The setting is the appeal: a mature oak forest, a spa built into parkland rather than a resort strip, and a genuine medicinal bath used year-round by locals rather than tourists.
