- Interior
Bathing at Baños de Montemayor goes back to the Roman road that passed below the village, and part of the original vaulted bath survives inside the present balneario. The water is warm and lightly sulphurous, used for respiratory and rheumatic cures in a small, unhurried spa on the border of Extremadura and Castile.
