Terme 3000 stands in the flat Prekmurje countryside of north-eastern Slovenia. Its signature is a dark, mineral-heavy thermal water — locally called black water — struck in 1960 by a crew drilling for oil.

Geschichte
Drilling for hydrocarbons in 1960 instead produced hot mineral water at depth; bathing began in the following years and the resort grew from the 1980s onward.
Praktische Informationen
The resort combines medical treatment with a large leisure water park, so quieter thermal pools are separated from the slides.
Anreise
About twenty minutes by road from Murska Sobota, and roughly two hours from Ljubljana.
